Upon arrival Luang Prabang airport, after clearing all customs procedures, please walk to the main exit gate, you will be met your guide signboard with your name

Wake up before dawn, you will be excited in participation in offering alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks (accepting a bowl of foods or Takbat in Lao) indicating peacefull and influence of Buddhist religious. Visit morning market and return to Hotel for breakfast.

Please tell your guide a day in advance if you wish to make an offering so your guide can prepare some food for you to hand over to the monks.

Dress appropriately - shoulders, chest and legs should be covered.

Visit the serene WatSene temple, overlooking the whole of Luang Prabang town. Bring along with you some offerings such as fruit, candles and incense sticks to offer to the monks and the nuns before partaking in a blessing ceremony that is believed to bring health, happiness and longevity. After the blessing, a white thread will be tied to your wrist - it is believed that this will help you to succeed in realizing your dreams. The blessing ceremony itself only lasts about 20 minutes but the good tidings it brings will be carried with you throughout the remainder of your journey in Laos and hopefully return home with you.

After noon, your guide will take you with a relaxing walk around the ancient town of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage city and outstanding example of the fusion of Lao traditional architecture and its urban structure built by the European colonial authorities in the 19 century. Pay a visit to the Royal Palace, which is now a National Museum and houses the precious exhibits that used to be possessions of the former Lao Royal family. Drive or enjoy a leisurely walk to the magnificent stupa of WatVisounand pass by WatAhamalong the way. Continue to Wat That Luang, monastery of the big stupas, and Wat Mai,LuangPrabang’s oldest Pagoda. Continue to one of the most beautiful sights in town; WatXiengthong. The so-called ‘Temple of the Golden City’ is located on the northern tip of the peninsula and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

End your tour with a short climb to the top of Mount Phousi and admire the wonderful view across the Mekong and Khan rivers as well as the surrounding mountain ranges.

After breakfast at Hotel, depart in the morning and drive about 40 minutes to Kuang Si waterfalls (25 km from Luang Prabang). Meet your local expert guide and trek together to the top area of the Kuang Si Waterfall. Along the way, learn how to collect herbs, mushrooms, bamboo shoots and other vegetables. You will even have the opportunity to try the local way of fishing. Then, help to prepare your truly local Lao’s jungle picnic lunch.

After lunch, enjoy a walk at the Kuang Si Waterfall or a refreshing swim. We will also pass the Bear Rescue Center close to the entrance gate, where more than 10 animals, including Sun Bears and Malayan Black Bears, are cared for after they've been rescued from bile farms or wildlife traffickers. In the early afternoon, return to Luang Prabang by private transfer.

You will be met your guide and transfer to the airport for your flight.
